The challenge
The level measurement in sewer systems is often challenging due to various influences. Installation is often needed in very tight spaces, such as shafts or hatches. It is not uncommon for these areas to also be at risk of explosion. In addition, the highly variable media in sewer areas can cause flooding, foaming or condensation. These surface formations have an impact on measurement accuracy and also come along with the risk of signal interruptions and process downtimes.
